WomenRIsing (formerly womanspiritrising) is a dynamic group of women who blend our voices in a cappella song – songs about justice, social consciousness, political oppression, freedom, love, friendship, acceptance, and truth.

Our mission is to utilize the strength and spirit of music to inspire, educate and empower women and the larger community.

As a non-profit organization we accept tax-deductible donations and hold periodic fundraising events enabling us to perform on a sliding scale. Your tax-deductible donation will help keep the chorus active and allow us to provide performances at affordable rates, making the arts accessible to Rhode Island audiences.
